From San Francisco / East Bay: CalTrain
Take the commuter line to the Santa Clara Transit Center (1 above), which is just across from the campus (about a 7 minute walk to the conference site).
From beyond the Bay Area: Amtrak
Amtrak stops at the Santa Clara Transit Center (1 above) just across from the Santa Clara
University campus. Be sure to select the proper station when buying your ticket. Use
code SSC on Amtrak’s site.
Air Travel to the Conference
NORMAN Y. MINETA SAN JOSE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (SJC)
San Jose International Airport is the nearest airport to Santa Clara University.

Going from SJC to Santa Clara University takes approximately 12 minutes (under normal
traffic conditions).
Public Transit
The VTA (Valley Transit Authority) Bus #60 runs between the airport and the Santa Clara Transit Center (stop G on this map; also see this schedule - be sure to scroll down the page). The Transit Center is just across from the campus (about a seven minute walk to the conference site).
SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (SFO)
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is further from the Santa Clara University campus, but is also quite accessible.

Going from SFO to Santa Clara University takes approximately 40 to 45 minutes (outside
of rush hours).
CalTrain (the local commuter train)
The CalTrain station station nearest SFO is the San Bruno CalTrain Station (station site). It is 1.2 miles from SFO to San Bruno. The train stops at the Santa Clara Transit Center, which is just across from the campus about a seven minute walk to the conference site). The train ride takes 1¼ hours.
Parking on the Santa Clara U Campus
Visitor Parking (daytime only):
Visitor/day parking is available on weekdays for $5, and free of charge on weekends. Mention Conference 28 to get this rate. Please bring exact change.
Enter at the Palm Drive entrance (500 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, CA 95053) and, if necessary, pay in cash at the security booth as you enter campus.
The security guard will then direct you to the Central Parking Structure (#1 on the map), a three minute walk from Conference 28 event locations.
Overnight Parking (for people lodging on campus):
The parking lot for people lodging in campus is the Benson B Lot (#2 on the map). Parking is $8 per night.
Please pay by check made out to “Santa Clara University” for all nights desired when you check in to your accommodations.
