30th International Conference
The 30th USCCA International Conference was held from July 31–August 2, 2026, at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. The theme of this 2026 conference was "Nourishing Trust: Following the Way of Christ."

Membership Program
Through the USCCA's new Membership Program, we invite new collaborations with anyone interested in promoting and cultivating peace, dialogue, and friendship between the people of the U.S. and the people of China.
Together, we can bridge the gulf of cultural differences between China and the U.S., strengthen the bond between Chinese and American Catholics, and grow closer to God as pilgrim companions.
Book Circle
In USCCA Book Circle Discussions, participants have gathered virtually from around the world to discuss dialogues between Catholics in the U.S. and in China.
In the Fall 2026 semester, Book Circle participants are reading Yanfei Sun's Religious Change in Post-Mao China: Toward a New Sociology of Religion.
Chinese and American Friendship Ministry
The Chinese and American Friendship Ministry (CAAFM) aims to broaden engagement with students from China who come to the U.S. for university education.
Two board members, Kathleen O'Brien and Alfred Gui, serve as co-chairs of the Chinese and American Friendship Ministry. We are also glad to share a selection of video resources on our website through our partnership with the Catholic Campus Ministry Association (CCMA).
