build bridges of friendship & understanding
Friendship Happy Hour
The Friendship Happy Hour is a round-table virtual conversation designed for mutual learning and fellowship within the USCCA community. It is not an academic lecture but a semi-structured conversation that allows specialists, clergy, religious, and laity to exchange their minds and hearts. We will discuss important topics in Chinese Catholicism and significant current events in the spirit of friendship and dialogue.
Our inaugural Happy Hour:
"A Mosaic of Faith and Culture”
Our first Happy Hour will be held from 7:30 PM–9:00 PM ET on Thursday, June 18, 2026. This virtual gathering will feature a round-table discussion of the sights seen and things learned by participants during the April 2026 Cultural Tour of China. How did this trip change their views of China? What signs did they see that revealed the depth and grandeur of the Chinese civilization? What aspects of faith inspired them as they moved across the boundaries of language, nationality, politics, and history? How did they encounter the presence of God and the unity of the Body of Christ?
